Winter is almost gone!

...and you know what that means!! All the bums will be flocking back into the city for the 2009 year. Today is going to be 61 degrees, and I think you know what that means...

That's right, a bum sighting! This fellow was not the hardest to locate, since he was literally sleeping on the ground in front of my office on 20th and Market. He decided to call it a night directly in the middle of the sidewalk, on one of the busiest intersections in Center City. I love it! Can't wait for more bums with the coming nicer weather!!

GI Hobo!

First bum of 2009, and probably one of the best! As Mike and I are walking back from the Irish Pub, we see a winner relaxing in the street. Mike goes, "I'm going to pretend to put money in this bum's cup." As we walk by, I try my best to get a shot of the event which was about to take place. Below is the final outcome.


As you can see, Mike is clearly extending his arm to put "money" into the bum's yellow cup. After the bum realized Mike, in fact, did not put anything in his cup, the bum began to yell, "Assssss-hoooole" at him as we were walking away. He repeated this comment 6-7 times after we left.
